The sites sporting facilities include playing fields, a floodlit all-weather pitch, games hall and teaching-sized swimming pool. Pupils benefit from a rich extra-curricular life, with strong sporting and cultural traditions and a regular programme of overseas exchanges and trips. In addition to more conventional sports, pupils may join clubs for skiing, hill walking and windsurfing. Other interests catered for include Greek, electronics, Amnesty International, debating, theatre visits and a range of musical groups. A number of departments take advantage of the opportunities for field work provided by the school cottage in Glen Tilt, Perthshire.
